This is a layout I made recently that I would like to share here. I used the kit Blueberry Night from Kimla Designs (available at After5Designs). It was the day before my daughter's first birthday so I chose a few pictures that I'd taken over the past year and wrote a little note about how I can't believe how much my tiny little baby has grown. She really is becoming a Miss Independent, but she'll always be my little girl.
Here is a recent photograph of me and giving Gracie a bath. She has so much fun now playing with the bubbles and is really starting to enjoy playing with her bath toys. I plan on getting her a nice set of them for her birthday, which is one week from today!! I can't believe that a whole year has gone by so fast. When I was pregnant everyone asked me if I was ready to be a mommy and I was always sure when I said yes. But even though I was ready to be a mom, I'm finding that I'm not ready for my baby to grow up.
For this scrap I used the kit Sunny Sunday, a collaborative freebie kit by Cupines Creations. You can download the first part of the kit and access links to the other parts here.
My name is Ruth and I'm from the Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania. I have a beautiful daughter who is one year old and gives me a new surprise each day. I work full-time and am also going to school, pursuing a degree in business administration. I'm very lucky to have many supportive freinds and family members.
