My big, BIG day!!

So yesterday a friend and I went to Dorney Park and WildWater Kingdom, an amusement park that is near my home. I had such an amazing time and left so relaxed I couldn't believe it! I haven't been there since I was about 13 years old and it feels so different to go there now that I am older! Very different seeing some of the water attractions that I played in when I was younger and I thought "I wish Gracie was here because SHE would love it!!" It was also very fun to go on the roller coasters in the early evening when the sun was setting, we had such a nice view of the Lehigh Valley when we weren't going like 200 mph!! The day was so nice, I wish I could go back again soon. But I suppose that would take the thrill out of getting to go if I went all the time. I'll have to be patient till next summer!!
Well I also have a page to share with everyone, not from the park but just an old photo I wanted to play with. I once again used Nikki Beaudreau's Merrily Merrily to compliment a picture of Gracie and her father. Enjoy! :)

Make a Splash!!

Gracie had a fun fun afternoon in the pool with her sister about a week ago. She just had a blast spashing around in her little floatie! My little fishy really seems to enjoy being in the water, she even tries to put her mouth down far enough to drink it! (That one scares mommy though!!) So I've made a page with some of the photos from the afternoon. I've used Merrily Merrily from Nikki Beaudreau. Don't the colors compliment the pictures nicely?

A few things to share!

This is a layout I made recently that I would like to share here. I used the kit Blueberry Night from Kimla Designs (available at After5Designs). It was the day before my daughter's first birthday so I chose a few pictures that I'd taken over the past year and wrote a little note about how I can't believe how much my tiny little baby has grown. She really is becoming a Miss Independent, but she'll always be my little girl.

Here is a recent photograph of me and giving Gracie a bath. She has so much fun now playing with the bubbles and is really starting to enjoy playing with her bath toys. I plan on getting her a nice set of them for her birthday, which is one week from today!! I can't believe that a whole year has gone by so fast. When I was pregnant everyone asked me if I was ready to be a mommy and I was always sure when I said yes. But even though I was ready to be a mom, I'm finding that I'm not ready for my baby to grow up.

For this scrap I used the kit Sunny Sunday, a collaborative freebie kit by Cupines Creations. You can download the first part of the kit and access links to the other parts
here.
